Christabel Gurney
Christabel Gurney is an editor and writer specialising in Southern Africa. She also has extensive copy editing and design experience on publications relating to development economics, small states, gender and HIV/AIDS. She has written numerous papers, leaflets and press briefings, including background papers for South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission and most recently a brochure celebrating Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday. She has written about the history of the Anti-Apartheid Movement and has travelled widely in South Africa, Namibia and Mozambique. She serves on the National Executive Committee of Action for Southern Africa (ACTSA).
